Navarro was actually stopped on the opening drive with a penalty. Only scored 16 points in the 1st quarter and led 44 -0 at half. At half lytle had zero first downs and negative 36 yards

Actually we looked rusty at times dropping balls and the fumbles also. Lytle played a slow down game running the play clock down to under 5 seconds before snapping the ball. Then they called timeout with the ball at the 2 second mark before half down 44-0. I can also assume they did not want a running clock in the 4th as well. Reason why with just under 5 minutes Navarro kept taking a knee on our end of the field.

Navarro has one smooth ball club. Those guys are good. Offense is difficult to stop and defense plays strong too.

Lost 3 fumbles on the night and dropped a couple of picks or else this would have been worse. I just don't like to see them not get the reps they need in a game. First time this year due to a penalty we do not score on the first possession as well. Hondo up next Friday at home.
