No Gilmer QB will ever have to worry about this. Even our "victory formation" is run from the shotgun. That's because they nearly lost a game about five years ago against Henderson by going under center at the end of the game, as recounted in the link below.

Same thing happened to Southlake in a 2007 playoff game vs Abilene. Southlake was losing 22-21 and at the Abilene 8 or 10 yd line. In an attempt to drain some clock before what might have been the game winning FG, Slake QB Riley Dodge went under center and was to down the ball. Instead he fumbled the snap (Southlake never goes under center) and Abilene recovered to seal it.

That's almost how it went....except it wasn't Riley Dodge. He was injured in the first half of that game and his back up fumbled at the end of the game as they were in FG range.
