These games can be scary affairs...if Sinton comes in thinking they have already won...it might be a long night. Jourdanton really has nothing to lose. That makes them dangerous. Sinton wins but not by 30

Sinton will score 49 or 56 (that's about the limit from a mercy standpoint). Jourdanton either won't score or will score late when Sinton's 2nd team D is in. I'll go with 56-7.

This could get ugly for Jourdanton. They aren't the team they were a year ago. They just lost an emotional game to Pearsall. Score tied 14-14 with 1:18 left and Pearsall RB breaks off a 65-yd run inside the ten. Mavs score with 32 secs to steal the win. If Indians haven't recovered emotionally, it will be bad. On the contrary, this might just fire them up. All that said, Sinton is the real deal this year and will win easily. LOL.

No way Sinton loses this one at home. Jourdanton will have to wait till they play Ingleside for a win. Heehee! :taunt::stirpot:

Sinton takes this one easily.. with the 2's getting a lot of playing time in the second half. Sinton has to stay healthy to make a deep run. Nobody gives them any problems in district except for maybe Yoakum. First big test will be Orange Grove or Navarro. Jourdanton and Ingleside will battle it out for that last playoff spot in this district.

This game was pretty boring after the first quarter smh

I know we want to stay healthy and I understand why we pull our starters, but we also need to keep them sharp!

I can't believe we are already in week 7!!!

Oh & Jourdanton next time stay off our logo...never a good idea to do that when you are on the road! :tisk:

Good they got some work in for 3 qtrs. and notice Owens got a chance to work on punting for Cohea. Any news on Sinton kid that got injured after making a big hit?

He was released from ER later that evening. All tests were clear. I'm sure he is pretty sore and will be for a couple of days. My understanding is that he still has to visit his personal doctor to get the "all clear" so not sure if he will get to play next game.

It was a good win for the Pirates but tougher than the final score looks. Remember the Pirates were outscored 8-0 in the second half. Scary times indeed.
