...not a whole lot in Burnet.....but if you want a good burger or some wings, there's a new place called Bill's Burgers, Wings and Things....or something like that....from 281 turn right on 29....it's just down the road on the right....you can sit outside if you want....food is good.....a little farther down on the right is Cafe 123....they have a little bit of everything in a neat little setting.......I'm hearin' Mama's Home Cookin' is really good....it just opened and is nestled next to Hamilton Creek....it's a little hidden....take right on 29 then first left on the next street....drive about a block it'll be on the right....I've been meaning to check Mama's out......if you want Mesican The Maxican is gone....but I've always liked the little hole in the wall, El Rancho....take left on 29 it's right past the HEB on the left.......on the square has Tealicious Tea Room.....they serve mostly home style.....I've had mixed results there but overall OK....Aranya is pretty good Thai with generous portions.....go past El Rancho it's on the right next to Shell station......if you keep going 10 miles to the east....you'll hit Bertram where Greendawg lives....he's always stirrin' up some kind of vittles.....and you can be sure he'll have some cold ones!!!!!.......or you can come to my place about 10 miles west of Burnet.....although we haven't been grocery shoppin' in a while so I might not be able to offer much more than some Pedigree Dawg food on whole wheat!!!......

......yep...finally bit the bullet....but we loved our natural grass field...it was kept up beautifully.....way nicer than the Chinese Springs lumpy discolored stuff you guys called turf!....:taunt:........and yes...we thought about ya....here are the new visitor restroom additions in what used to be a storage shed under the bleachers just under the tiny press box....ceiling vents were added so the crowd can enjoy....."don't sniff, there's enough for everybody"!!!......:D

Another year in the system for this very talented junior class. The running back is only about 5'9 but he will flat run you over. QB has matured (senior) and the recievers have great hands and speed. Defense has improved so much over last year and that has really helped.

....well that totally sucked!...:spitlol:......nice job CS!.....got a fine team...#2 Dudik is one tough cookie to bring down....liked how the CS secondary shut down Burnet receivers and how 3 D linemen with occasional blitzes managed to create havoc for our QB....Hopefully, Burnet goes back to the drawing board to fix some things........

But I must say your coaches are boneheads for leaving Dudik in the game till the end when the game is already won just to get him more yards....You lose that kid and CS is not the same team....La Vega / CS next week gonna be good!!!

....I'm just glad today is over!......bad things just happening all day....first, almost got into a bad wreck at noon, then in the afternoon I went for a bike ride and my front tire blew out.......after walking back I hit the weights and did something to my shoulder and it hurts like hell.......and after working off some calories I decided I'm gonna eat a hot dog AND peanut M&M's at the game and chase it all down with a Coke....stuff I know I shouldn't do.........needless to say, my stomach ain't right at the moment.....the bed bugs under the covers are gonna pay!!!......

Went back and found the 2015 thread on Burnet - China Spring game. Was interesting to see what we all had to say. Similar game this year. Teams where ranked about same and CH was big favorite to win and the rest is history !
