White Oak is a pretty doggone good 3A-D1 team. I think it'll be relatively close, and if WO gets inside the 30-yard-line their kicker (a foreign exchange student from Brazil) is automatic on field goals. Seeing as I think these teams are pretty evenly matched, I'll go with the team with the better special teams.

When I was in Jr. High we had a Brazilian exchange student. At that time they were not allowed to play high school sports.........let me tell you though, I learned everything I know about ping pong from him. We should have a Texasdownlow ping pong tournament:D

I notice the vast majority are picking Gladewater over Kilgore. I think this game is a pick'em(just like this contest, Lol). But even though the game is in Gladewater, I really think this game could go either way. If Kilgore plays some good defense, I think they can pound out a victory here. I hear there's some dissension among the Bears faithful regarding which player should be at the qb position.

You have some valid points. I think this game will be closer than some expect it to be. The game is in Gladewater, and I still think Gladewater is quite a bit better than their 1-3 record indicates. Turnovers have absolutely killed the Bears. Kilgore has also had problems with turnovers, and their new offensive scheme hasn't really gelled enough for them to be a contender yet, in my opinion. A major concern is that Gladewater lost one of their best players (Caleb Williams) last week to a concussion. He is out indefinitely, as it was a serious concussion. Also out this week for Gladewater is Dadrian Strickland with a shoulder injury, another good athlete. So, yes, this game could possibly go either way.
