Jimmy Johnson said before the game that Demarco would have less that 50 yards rushing. I was thinking WTH!!! 2 Yards with 13 carries. Now I'm thinking WTH?

He showed up just like I thought he would. Head blew up huge last year. The line got him paid. The Philly line will get him forgotten.

He was never that great of a talent IMO. He shined because of that o line. Hell, anyone could run behind that line. I was almost sick about the thought of the Cowboys landing AP this offseason. Imagine what he would've done...

And some wonder why they traded him. Pffft. First two years he sat on the bench w/injuries. So funny last year behind those big real true beef-a-lows, he was bowling over defensive backs, cause he had support and play of his o-line. And he NeVeR got hurt, why? Because anyone that suited up could have run behind that o-line and he knew it.

I don't think he did know it. That's the problem! I believe he felt the success he had was 100% his talent. Otherwise i can't imagine he would have taken the Philly deal to try and prove a point to the world. And Demarco might still have a good year but it won't come close to his success in Dallas.....

Demarco just wanted his payday. It was a business decision on his (and his agent's) part. I can't really blame him for that, but he should've realized that the O-line at Dallas was the single biggest reason for his success. He is a talented player that deserved a raise, but he should've taken what Dallas was willing to give, in my opinion. Now he is making the money his agent wanted him to make, only he will be a bust while doing it. He may still have a good year, but he will not have near the season he had at Dallas, for sure.

Yep. He is a good player no doubt. Just never has been able to stay healthy (even going back to OU). That is why I was opposed to the Cowboys giving him a big long-term deal. He has had 1 year since college that de didn't miss significant time due to injury.....last year. He got his money, just glad it was Lurie's and not Jones's.

Me, too. He got his payday, and the Cowboys have more cap room. His history of injuries was exactly the reason why I was against the Cowboys giving him a huge pay increase. It's pretty obvious now why he was as successful as he was last season.

You can add Brandon Weeden to that list. And you really can't fault Murray for leaving. We basically told him we will sign you but you will have to wait until we get the dez deal done. He didn't like that and so he went to the highest bidder.

I think he is a good back. I just don't think Philly is a right fit for him.
