My grandpa started walking
Five miles a day when he was 60.
Now he's 97 years old
And we have no idea where the hell he is...............

.........
Walking can add minutes to your life..
This enables you at 85 years old
To spend an additional 5 months in a nursing
Home at $4,000 a month.

My wife asked, "What you doing today?"
I said, "Nothing"
She said, "You did that yesterday!"
I said, "I wasn't finished!".........:crazy1::crazy1::D

Someone ask me the other morning what I was doing. I said nothing and I wasn't starting that until after lunch.
Also the wife wanted me to mow the grass. I told her that I said when I retire I'm going to do at least one thing a day. Since I had taken out the trash that morning, that the mowing would have to wait until tomorrow.

I read an inspiring story once. A new widow decided to start walking for exercise after her husband died a year before. She then started jogging. Once she ran for several months, she decided to train for a marathon. She was 81 when she ran her first marathon.

We have a lady at boot camp that is 83 . She comes 4 days a week does everything but burpies . Cant whine about anything when you have someone there like that . That lady can run a mile in 104 degree heat then do boot camp and run another mile . This is at 4:30 pm in August .

Wow. Love it! Great example of mind over body. Your body can't go where your mind won't let it.

I like long walks,
Especially when they are taken
By people who annoy me.

The only reason I would take up walking
Is so that I could hear heavy breathing again.

We all get heavier as we get older,
Because there's a lot more information in our heads.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I like to walk from my chair on the back porch to the ice chest.

That's what your dog is for. To fetch your soda pop for you.
