Patterson "resigns in a mutually agreed upon decision." Former Longhorn linebacker Mike Perrin will take over as AD in an interim basis. Some believe there will now be a push among Longhorn faithful to hire Mack Brown as the new AD.

Mack Brown and Charlie Strong wouldnt work well together IMO. 2 completey different personalities. Mack has the good ole boy/ everyones grandad persona with Stong being like a drill seargent.

On the other hand, could be great. Checks and balances type. Just think Mack likes retirement.
