Giddings better be careful. Columbus has size on D and a beast (#12, I think) in the backfield. If they cut down on mistakes and limit Giddings big hitting passes, they can make it a game. Giddings by 10.

I think it is homecoming for Giddings.
I'll be a homer and say Giddings by 10. If they don't turnover the ball, and catch a few more passes, it could be 20.

Giddings up 34-14 8:52 in second quarter

Final was buffs 69 and cards 31. The cards scored on last play of game. Didn't want that, but what do you do. Good to see so many backups get to play some good ball.

I listened to the Cards broadcast team online. It was a shootout at first, The Cards stayed even scoring 2 TD's answering Giddng's TD's, so the score was 14-14. The hosts later mentioned that Giddings had figured out their power run to the right play and that's how Giddings got some stops. Giddings did an unexpected successful onside kick in the 2nd quarter and scored quickly. It helped them pull away. Buffs have so many athletes and it was good to see QB Jones spread it around. Most of Buffs scores were quick strike plays. Not too many ground and pound drives. Many of the Buffs speedsters are underclassmen.

Things are building up towards the LG/Buffs game ahead. The LG @ Giddings game might be the biggest hurdle for each team on way to the playoffs. Its shaping up to be a high scoring shootout.

Should be a great game..but rgt now I would have to go with LG..bcs they have the better defense...LG by 10+
