A new year and another 1-2 Start for the Duke Dalton era at Godley.
This week the Wildcats regroup and try to even their record at 2-2.

Did Godley get healed up? I seem to remember you guys got bit big by the injury bug.

Last year we got killed with injuries. This year we been dinged up but we are back to full health for first time the past 2 weeks.

Well Wildcat Lose again 32-21 to Lake Worth. We had a muffed KO they got and Scored on, We had a punt Blocked that they got and scored on and we had a fumble that they recoved and score off of. All took less than 4 plays. We got our QB and Running Back knocked out in the 3rd Quarter.

So the Cats set at 1-3 and this Staff is now 5 -9 in the 11/2 they been here. All is not well in Wildcat Country.

Heck, you can't expect the coaches to play the game. If the offense gives up the ball 3 times deep in their own end and the other team scores each time....then that's on the team. And very difficult to make up. Can't take the points off the board, so now your offense has to play catch up. Then your QB and RB get knocked outta the game......what a nightmare! Now it's time for the team to regroup and go forward. It would be nice to have some support from the hometowners....don't ya think??? Right when they need support the most, are you gonna voice complaints against the coaching staff or support the team in their endeavors???

Support the team in their endeavors. I think sometimes, some fans expect a little too much.The cats will just have to work harder. Go Cats!

Next up is Mineral Wells...and my Rams are rolling!!!!! 3-1...only 42-41 loss to Bridgeport the lone blemish. Has scored 41, 36, 41, 42...Offense is clicking....

I would expect the same this week our D can't even catch a Cold.

I love and support these kids but UIL SHAFTED them with a two level bump the last cycle. We don't have the kids needed to compete in 4A ball walking the halls of this School. As of today the staff is 5-9 the past year and a 1/2.

Wow just saw this post! in your first paragraph WE, WE,WE,WE I assume your talking about the kids. But your second one, about the staff (no assumption here) seems to me you think its the staff.

As of today the staff is 5-9 the past year and a 1/2. Pat I explained this last year we moved up 1 level. We did not move up 2 levels. Please try and understand that no high school team in Texas moved up 2 levels.

As far as your comment about the Staffs record (AGAIN), makes me believe that you don't take into consideration the tremendous drop off in talent from the Godley players that we had a few years ago. We have a small handful of players that are good. Unfortunately, you need a lot more than that to win OR dig at a coaching staff if the team loses. Talent cycles up and down. The Godley Wildcats will continue to develop and work hard. GO CATS!

Godley East I was sharing what I been hearing at Church, and the Sideline fence at the Games. Sorry if that upset you but that is the feeling of many fans.
