This should be an exciting game with the power running of EC's Dove and Wharton's speed around the corners. I'll give my nod to the Ricebirds mainly because I think they can eat up the clock with their pound the ground game up the middle. EC by 14+.

In 2012 and 2014 The Bird came into this meeting unbeaten and split the wins. In 2013 and this year the tigers are unbeatenand the Ricebird shoul end Whartons unbeaten status this year. The loss left a bad taste in the Birds so why not return the favor. The loss last year was very fustrating for the fans. Thing are coming together for El Campo as far as adjusting to the coaching changes and they ready to go Im sure. So Lets Take it to them BIRDS!!!!

Last year he Ricebirds had third and one in Wharton territory and a 24 - 7 fourth Qt. lead. Two procedure penalties later the Tigers intercepted a pass and when the dust settled they had a 28 - 24 win. ECs young team has gotten better each week and I don't think Dove, Harris and Co, want to be known as the first to lose two in a row to Wharton in three thousand years.

Check those Coach Rice years. This rivalry is all about physical play vs finess. Wharton really found a way to compete with schools better when they went to the spread while el campo is el campo. Their power running game is always one of the best in Texas.
