Sinton defense has been playing well from 1st scrimmage into the first two week of games.
good test for both, Sinton run game with qb being a key part of the run game gets tested by Rio Hondo run defense.

GAME NOTES: Last year Sinton beat Rio Hondo 35-7 in the third week of the season, however, if the Bobcats haven’t corrected the mistakes they made last week against Juarez-Lincoln it could very easily happen again. … The Pirates, like many other area teams, have a run first mentality. 24-21??? Never gonna happen. Our boys will win by a minimum of three TD's. I have yet to see a Valley team in our division who can slow down the run (except the fluke Raymondville game), and I highly doubt their defense will be better than Rockport's! I have full confidence in our coaching staff to prepare our boys for whatever Rio Hondo throw at us! I think our boys will have fun with this one! GOOOO BIG MAROON!!!
