Coach Detmer's Grandson was the starting QB.Broke his foot in their last scrimmage, so he is out. Big kid whose a freshman 6'4", 225 lbs. he has already commited to a D1 school.

I look for the Texans to get their first win tomorrow. No interest in this one so I thought I would post a few Maxpreps highlights from Giddings game of the soph. lineman I had mentioned earlier this year. This young man is going to be real good.

I had to cringe when they said in the pre-game interview that Somerset had more seniors on their team than Wimberley had players for their entire roster.

Defense fought hard but scheme was weak..plain and simple..offense...meh...with that said ..look out folks...Go Texans!!

Weeks..all I will say is I did not see improvement.

Well that's too bad, hope he improves soon. When I saw him play (Giddings) he had a long way to go.

It was our worst effort as a team and you can throw the coaching staff in there too. Don't know much at all about Somerset but they by far had the best offense we have seen to this point. I'm not close enough to the team to know but don't believe the soph. QB Woods was on the sidelines. He was dropped off the roster posted thru Max Preps. Maybe someone can enlighten me. Now it's on to Canyon Lake and a date with the slot-t.
