Way to easy, but to the defenses credit they are probably wore out. They have kept the game close for 3 1/2 qts.

I feel bad for Swoops, he isn't the answer I don't think, but he hasn't even had a chance tonight. It's bout to get very ugly.

Lol, I agree the are pitiful. Texas has the best of the best and this is the product? Pathetic

I'm not a coach but the only positive thing I've seen tonight for Texas is the linebacker Jefferson.

Yes..two freshman starting on the OL. Not exactly the best team to play for your first assignment. It is what it is..it will get better. Swoopes is another issue...

Malik is going to be huge. Offensive line was manned by 5 NCAA guys. (No Contact At all). Defensive line may have been too.

They are horrible, it's one thing to get beat but to get manhandled.

To me two freshman starting on the OL says a lot about the poor OL recruiting over the last few years.

Always have to laugh at the phrase "they're young."

All high school and college athletes will always be young unless you're at BYU where the average player is almost approaching middle age in many cases.

This was very frustrating to watch as you at least wanted to see some improvements from how the team played in their last three games last year. I am here in Austin this weekend and I can tell you that you are starting to hear more talk that the Offensive Coordinator Watson needs to go as so many other schools seem to do well with young players and young QB. Charlie looked to be lost when the camera would show him on the sideline. There are so many areas that this team needs to address with getting more speed at the skill position, improving the secondary , and improving the OL which I agree they are awful right now. To sit and watch the Aggies beat another ranked team with their young team makes watching this Longhorn season even tougher and more frustrating. We need to be showing improvement with each new season and this weekend's game showed no improvement just the same frustrating team play from last year. As the Austin American Statement said "We waited Nine Months for this".

I agree...this team will most likely be 6-7 again..anything better would be a bonus...but...it's going to get better. The question is how much restraint will the Longhorn nation display while getting this thing turned around. From the looks of it right now, not much. Obviously there is a ways to go. I believe Strong will do what he must to make it so even if it means the dismissal of certain coaches.

The majority of BYU players are no different than other schools. Not all of them go missions.

I don't have confidence that Swoopes can even beat Rice.... even if he had a good OL
