Brenham to Beuamont..

Any of you folks from that region. I have to go to Beaumont this weekend for softball tourny. Was thinking of bypassing Houston and turning at Brenham toward Navasota then on to Conroe over to Beaumont on 105. How is this road? or will it just cost me a bunch more time than its worth. Thanks for any feedback.

Unless you'd be hitting Houston during traffic hours, you'd just be screwing yourself out of a bunch of time for some mediocre scenery. 290 to 610 to I10 is the way to go....

I used to go to that neck of the woods when I was a kid to visit some family friends....then this family's son who was 2 years older than me squirted some tooth paste on my face and ticked me off....fistacuffs ensued...I lost....and my dad never took us there again!.....so I don't remembers anything panfan.....you're on your own.....
