I think Mexia will finish in the top ten before the season is over......and yikes, we play them in week 3 AT Mexia.

Probably jumping the gun a bit on the Bobcats. But I do think they'll end this season as a better team than a year ago.

I'm not sure La Grange should be ranked number 2 at this point in the season but they are a top 10 team in both divisions imo. I want to see how they do against La Vernia and Giddings two very good football teams.

There's not going to be much differentiation between the teams until more games are played. The way these ratings work, which is pretty much like Buck Cargal's or Collier-Sharp's numbers from thte late 90's, the margin of error shrinks as the season progresses. The cream will rise to the top.

I assume Celina is highly rated because Liberty Christian is highly rated. The results of both teams moving forward will either justify or condemn the current rankiings.

Thank you. I'm relieved to know there are some out there that get it and enjoy it for what it is.

I always enjoy rankings. I take them with a grain of salt, but I love when they come out each week. They always bring out some fun discussion. I also love to see Celina back in the No. 1 spot, even if we are just now heading into week one, or week two, or whatever the powers that be call it nowadays. I'd love to see the Bobcats go wire-to-wire in that spot now too.

La Marque should be ranked under the rim of the bowl. We've been outscored 55-0 in the last 2 games.
