ok region 4 is a hard region, sinton was ranked 3rd most of the year and bellville was ranked 7th atthe end of the year and 1st in the houston area. Both sinton and bellville were 12-0 when they faced eachother. And now a rep. of region 4 is in the state championship. So what im askin is how is that week?

I dont think region four is weak. You already have Sinton in the final game and may have the DII rep as well. I do however think Everman will win state and of course I think Commerce is going to win state. But I certainly dont see how you region could be considered weak. If what I hope comes true it surely wont be easy.

While Region IV does have its share of high quality teams, as a whole it is the weakest of the regions. Mainly, b/c of the RGV teams. God help'em, they just dont play very good football on the other side of the Nueces County line.

I would have to agree about the valley teams as a whole are weak, But they seem to be improving year after year and they do have some quality teams like Port Isabel and and and will at least one, year after year.

You're misunderstanding Gobbla and his cough. Sinton is his example that Region 4 is not weak.

WATCH THE SEMIFINALS GAMES THIS WEEKEND AND SEE HOW MANY REG 4 TEAMS BEAT THE REG 3 TEAMS. THAT WILL GIVE YOU THE ANSWER.

With region 4 powerhouse Marion getting knockout in the second round, that just shows just how much depth and talent are in this region. With a talent like Marion to go down within it's own region, then you have a tough group of teams on your hands.

Apparently Alan Outlook doesn't consider 3A region 4 weak. They just picked Sinton to win!

Power houses dont get beat 59-6. If Marion is a power house then I think that La Grange can take Texas and their MIGHTY QB Christina Simms! That would be a good game!

Okay, the list goes on:

Blanco in 2a, Sinton and 3A, Taft in 5A, Smithson Valley in 4A all beat Region III teams last week, now LaGrange over Giddings continues the trend...seems to me that Region IV continues to represent well!

Westlake over Houston Madison, Region IV wins again, Austin Reagan loses to Bay City, still Region IV is doing very well

From what I hear, Young may have bigger things to worry about than college.

Of course I'll elaborate. From what I understand, his grades are less than average and he's not exactly a model citizen.
