Blake Hickey of Godley has verbally committed to Kansas State as of yesterday.

Godley versatile lineman Blake Hickey, Class of 2016, announced on Twitter Wednesday evening that he was verbally committing to Kansas State University.
"I would like to thank all the schools that took interest in me and gave me an opportunity to play at the next level," Hickey wrote. "It's been a dream of mine and all of these great schools gave me a chance to fulfill that dream. This was the toughest decision of my life, but as of now I am verbally committed to Kansas State University! #EMAW16"
EMAW is a K-State slogan that means "Every Man A Wildcat."
Hickey, an All-Johnson County and all-district selection the past two years, currently holds 16 other Division I offers along with Kansas State: Duke, Northwestern, Colorado State, Illinois, Toledo, California, Texas State, Houston, Kansas, Memphis, Louisiana Lafayette, Syracuse, Arkansas State, North Texas, Purdue and UNLV.
Hickey was the all-district and All-Johnson County lineman of the year in 2014.
