Wow he could have done great at Baylor. How would KD Cannon have done this year at Texas? Maybe 8 or 10 catches.

He must've decided he wanted to make a position change when he gets to college to QB. I guess he got tired of catching the ball and now he wants to throw it. Makes sense. Last I heard they were having open tryouts for qb.

You are way off in left field on this comment, only duck knows what I am talking about and it has nothing to do football, atm or Texas.

I would say there is about a 50/50 chance he sticks with it this time.

Maybe he wants to be QB. I think one component of his choice is that he wants to walk on a team and be a difference maker his first year. He would have trouble doing that his first year at A&M due to the caliber of receivers and QBs already there.

Good pick up for Texas.

I read where SEC west put more peeps in the NFL than the whole Big 12 last year. 29 to 25.

There is the thought that Texas may be showing some interest in his Navasota QB Eppler. Eppler is a great baseball player also and rumors are that Texas might offer him an opportunity to play baseball and football. I personally think Eppler could be a sleeper pickup for the Longhorns. We shall see!!!!

Wouldn't hurt, that's for sure. I still think Jerrod Heard will be a good one, but we should find out more this season about him. Eppler still has a couple of years to gain maturity and hone his skills. IMO, he will be a good one also. Stephenville's Tyler Jones(6'2", 197) has proven to be a very good qb for Texas State, and he'll only be a junior this season. I see that Eppler is listed at 6-1, 185. If he can gain another inch or two in height by graduation, it will only enhance his overall recruiting upside.

I personally like that LaGrange grad currently at UT as the QB.

I'm sure finishing mid pack again in the SEC will keep Sumlin around a few more years which is good for Texas.

Riding coattails will only get you so far :evillol: All that talent and still a mid tier team.;)

Are you hook's secret protege? I'm hoping the aggies improve this year, but I think next year will be their year.
