She's a freaking awesome athlete.

I just wish they would stop grunting when they hit the ball. It is annoying. Gabriela Sabatini and Monica Seles were the worst if I remember correctly...or was it Stefi Graf????

It was Seles...Sabatini could have croaked like a bullfrog and would have been music to my ears..lol Congrats to Serena. She has earned my sincere appreciation for her accomplishments. Just an amazing player.

Eh... Tennis is so noncompetitive these days on both the Gentlemen and Ladies sides. A select few win everything. Not bashing her.. I truly hope Serena wins the US Open to get the real Grand Slam. I remember being so excited watching Steffi back in the late 80's when she did it. Also rooting for Hingis even though she used to be a huge brat way back when. She won her first Wimbledon Title in Doubles today.
