Heard Carthage more than held their own in this one..in fact I heard Carthage was overall the better team...

Carthage may be the most underrated team in a long time. I think they deserve a top 10 ranking in the polls. Their record was rough last year, but their opponents were ridiculous.

I agree crazyjournalist, Carthage looks very good this year. The 2002 record doesnt do the team justice, just ask Forney. Carthage is returning a big strong O-line, and a number of good backs including the two hosses from last year. The D was my only concern but they looked pretty solid also. They allowed 100 yards to the #1 back in the nation, but about 70 of it came on 1 play with a few second teamers on the field. Carthage will suprise a bunch of people this year!
