Give me some pointers after your stay! It's been a long time since I've been there. I used to live in Aransas Pass which is just a little ways down the coast. I'll be there in 4 weeks.

Cam... I'm lost when we go fishing lol. BUT. We have a couple "go to" places to eat.. Shempy's is between Rockport and Port A on Hwy 35. It's on the right side (going south) next door to a liquor with store. Close to City By The Sea....Very small, mom and pop type place. Excellent food. Fabulous crab cakes and grilled veggies... Delicious creamy shrimp salad shows up on the daily special sometimes. Their fried fish, shrimp and oysters are lightly breaded, so you're able to actually taste the fish, shrimp or oysters. It's BYOB....
Los Comales is on the right side of Hey 35, leaving Rockport, towards Port A... Always packed.... Serves beer, wine and mixed drinks. Very good Mexican seafood....

Well.....the weather put a damper on our plans....ended up coming back to Burnet last night....gonna try again maybe next week before my older boy heads back to school.........:bigcry:

These two guys are my wife's cousins. The one on the right is the Jetty Ready Fishin' Musician; he's forgotten more about the Jetty in Port A than I'll ever know; notice the blue socks..........he is also a Rocket Man!!!
