Congrats to El Campo! Great season! Aggies is a Silsbee guy through and through by the way, not generally a big WOS fan until we make it out of the area. Southeast Texas is just a little excited about being in a Baseball State Finals for the first time since Jasper won it all 8 years ago and WOS is having their best athletic season since the late 1980's with State Finals appearances in both Football and Baseball this year. Argyle can say the exact same thing though so good luck to both tomorrow!

Yeah, Aggies is not a WOS guy. Nothing but respect for El Campo. You don't get this far without being pretty dang good, much less the one seed at the state tournament.

That being said, Mr Aidan Anderson was incredible on the mound today. He had his best game of the season from what I've seen and the Mustang bats keep on coming thru in big situations.

Can't beleive someone would say that about a team that was the number one seed in the state tournament.Three of the teams in our district went out rather quickly and El Campo made it to Austin but they wouldn't have made it in our district.What a dumb comment.

El Campo did a tremendous job of making it to the state tournament. I'm not sure we had a kid that could break 85. Our #1 and #2 guys, due to injury, didn't pitch at all in the Sinton series.

That being said, El Campo didn't see enough tough pitching in Region IV this year. The kid from WO-S overmatched them.

You've got to schedule some top notch teams in non-district when you don't get to see that type of velocity in district play and in the Region IV playoffs.
