Today Argyle ISD Superintendent Dr. Telena Wright accepted Argyle High School's 9th consecutive UIL State Academic Championship trophy and 10th in school history(13 yrs.). The UIL State Academic Championship cemented another Lone Star Cup Championship for the Eagles for the 2014-15 school year. Regardless of how softball or baseball ends, there is no school in Class 4A that can surpass Argyle's point totals in the Lone Star Cup standings. I think Abilene Wylie will probably end up in 2nd place this season. I believe the UIL announces and awards the Lone Star Cup winners in each classification in July.
