Argyle scores another one in the top of the 7th.....now 5-0. Van is only 3 outs from being eliminated.

Mushinski gives up a lead-off triple and Van plates a run in the final inning. Argyle gets the 2-game sweep. Now the 5 Van Seniors will walk to home plate to recieve thier diplomas. Congrats to the Van Vandals for making it this far after the tornado damage that impacted that town earlier this month.

PG sweeps the series in 2 games and advances to the Region II final to meet Argyle. PG goes to 26-3 for the season, while Argyle stands at 26-7. Should be a great series and the 6th meeting in 9 yrs. for these two teams at the regional final. Looks like Argyle and Pleasant Grove are dominating Region II in baseball. Spring Hill has been there a few times also.

It's a shame Gilmer isn't in it anymore. We've knocked out Navasota and Carthage in baseball this year avenging losses to 2 of the 3 consecutive football State Champs we've lost to in '12,'13 and '14.

First time WOS has advanced to the State Quarters since 1990 when we lost in the Semis.
