Ricebirds got their run in the bottom of the first with an infield RBI. Sinton left two runners at 2nd and a double play ending the game . El Campo left runners in scoring position as well.

Not sure about the strategy there, but obviously it worked this time.

Sinton freshman Mason Hopkins once again hard luck loss, last outing he was out duel 2-1 as Robstown pitcher pitched a no hitter. Sinton 3rd time this playoff run down 1-0 and now go with their sophomore ace in game 2.

Sinton is a dangerous team when their backs are against the wall. Hopefully the Pirates came extend their season.

Not sure about the strategy there, but obviously it worked this time.Chad Quinn is 4-0 now and had the best era on the staff at 1.04 best strike out to inning ratio, I do see El Campo has a few they can use and two other starters that are 6-1 with mid 2 era's and about even with innings pitched to strike outs. El Campo did have almost every inning somebody warming up on the side maybe incase he ran into trouble. El Campo team plays with a lot of confidence and use their speed well. A lot of infield hits because of their speed.

Chad Quinn has been used mostly in relief. His brother Collin is considered the Birds #1 starter.
