Colorado River rising in Wharton

Colorado River is rising in Wharton and is at 38 feet now.Supposed to go to 45 feet by tomorrow or Friday. They already have voluntary evacuation going on the west side of town. and they have set the Wharton Junior High Gym as a shelter

Colorado River continues to rise and is around 40 feet this morning- May take until tomorrow if it reaches arouned 45. They expected around 1,000 residents from 300 homes to evacucate last night and today to the Wharton Junior High Gymnasium and family homes else where- We went to the river yesterday and they have 4 Houston TV station trucks as they were giving live reports yesterday
