It's a great story that illustrates and details some of the battles within the battles for the US soldiers during WWII. Most of us have seen it several times, but watching it again we may be able to even garner more from the movie. Again we are reminded that war does not decide who is right, only who is left. The powers that be have an agenda that sets off most wars......and the people are the ones that ultimately suffer the consequences. If there is a right vs wrong or good vs evil in war, it is the result of those in high positions of power that instigated it for their own agenda.....however long term that may be. Patriotism is a developed sentimentality for national support to engage the masses that the military is a good thing. The military may be "necessary" and I can certainly sympathize with those that are engaged within it, but in itself it is a destructive entity that embodies death. Death is the opposite of life.....which without life the rest of existence has no meaning whatsoever.
