Disappointed with the food!!!

I just spent last Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in South Texas. (Kingsville, Alice, ect.) And the Mexican food was average to below average. What a letdown. We have better Mexican in Brazoria County.
What gives?

Not sure why, but I never ate good Mexican food while in the valley....Best Mexican food I ever had was in Laredo.
