For selecting Burnet CISD as the HEB Small District Excellence in Education Award Winner! The District receives a $50,000 cash prize. The two finalists in the small school districts were Burnet CISD and Port Aransas ISD.
To determine overall statewide winners, a panel of judges visited each district, early childhood facility and school board, toured campuses and talked with administration, staff, parents and community members. Greendawg, glad you or I didn't run into any of them judges!!.....:doh:....could've changed everything!...:crazy1::crazy1::crazy1:
