Actually Ferris IS better than usual...defensively anyway...haven't given up 300 yards total offense to anybody this year. Not to say they can do this against Forney...they won't...but no one else has either. Forney is head and shoulders the best in the district, the area, and possibly the state. To say Forney by as much as they want....doesn't take a rocket scientist to pick that. You can make THAT prediction probably clear up to the Burnet game.

Region II Division I will be a dogfight, Forney is in no way a shoe-in. They can get there but it will be extremely difficult.

Forney by 21 would probably be a good pick...maybe even more....probably a comparable game to the Forney/Crandall game.

poor Ferris, they don't deserve what's probably going to come. With the game being homecoming, our starters may play more than they normally would. This game will probably get out of hand early, and just get worse as it goes on. Watching the last few homecomings, I know that there won't be the second half let-up that the guys have been giving other teams. Ferris is better than last year, but the score won't reflect it.

yeah, this one could get ugly quick....ferris has improved some on the defensive side of the ball but their offense is still prettty stagnant. Forney will have no problem in picking up this district win..... Forney 49, Ferris 0

If i was Ferris i would win the opening coin flip and elect to continuously run the clock.

i dont believe thats an option (to run the clock at the start of the game). once the game gets out of hand then then either team can request a running clock. but i'm not sure of the exact rules on that. i'll call my referee friend and ask him. besides i'm not sure ferris is that bad but i guess we'll see.
