A lot of people have written off the bulldogs this year because they have two loss’s before the playoff’s start. One to Oklahoma’s #8 ranked 6A Lawton Eisenhower (8-2), and the other to Kennedale (9-1), another fine team who we just can’t seem to beat. Although we have won two state championships in a row, we have paid a terrible price, particularly in the past year. First Corey Fullbright’s devastating injury, and the untimely death of Craig Boatwright, an awesome player and emotional leader for this team. My question is, do you think Everman can make it to the state final game, and can they win it?

I think it would be a huge mistake to take Everman for granted. Anythings possible, time will tell.

yes and yes as far as CAN they. do I think they will? not likely. but I do like their chances of winning region I, even making it back to the title game. but to three-peat? i'd say no ...

I think Everman has just as good a chance as anyone else of winning it all this year. From my experience, Everman seems to get stronger during the playoffs. They have lost a ton of talent to graduation over the last couple of years, but as the largest 3A school, they always seem to have plenty of people to plug into the lineup. They also have an excellent coaching staff. If you start counting Everman out this early, you're a fool.

yes and yes. Ever since the loss to Kennedale; Everman has been playing excellent football. They have the players and the coaches to do it yet again.

THANKS FOR PUTTING GLEN ROSE IN THEIR PLACE

Yes and Yes, They just seem to get better come playoff time. Just because they are not ranked in the top 10 in the AP does not mean that they aren't the best team in 3a.

I wouldn't mind getting another shot at them if we make it that far, but on the other hand, I wouldn't mind not having to face them either. Good luck to Everman, you have our respect!

Everman is getting better every week...but honestly I'd be happy if EHS just made it to the state title game..much less win it all..it takes a lot of luck and skill to win even one title...much less 3 in a row!

I've been asking for a Forney-Everman III since the preseason...it would be yet another great matchup.

Of course Everman can win it all again. There will be several teams trying their best to stop them though so it will not be a cakewalk.

I agree with Sinton Fan. Everman is in the playoffs and right now all the teams have an equal chance. I won't count Everman out until they lose a playoff game and are eliminated. They have an outstanding program and their fans and players and coaches are high class folks.

Oh my goodness! Lets just take it one game at a time. I would love to 3-peat, but we need to focus on each week. There are alot of good teams out there.

I think that the North has at least 3 really good teams that could represent us at State against Burnet.

Everman is one of them. But they have to get past the Forney vs Gainesvile winner.

I think Forney will beat Gainesville and if so Forney rolls. However if Gainesville beats Forney, then the Semifinal game from the North will be One for the Ages.

Bottom Line.

Burnet Wins It All.

I believe Everman has a great shot at another State Championship title. I hope for District 8-3A to represent in both: Everman DI and Kennedale DII.

EVERMAN will win state they just have to
win the battle in the trenches on both DL/OL
which I know they can with both Brian Jones DL
and Omarion Bradford OL.
I believe EVERMAN can win state but they have to
believe in them selfves and overcome all that
stuff that has happened to them.
YALL ARE THE BEST
