I go into see the doctor 7th inning leading 3-2.I come out and it's 9-6.What the hell happened?

Saggy Aggie

Correa 2 run HR, followed by a Rasmus solo homer. 6-2 stros.

Will Harris gives up 4 consecutive base hits to start the 8th, 6-3 stros bases loaded and nobody out.

Tony sipp comes in and gives up a single 6-4. Next batter hits a line drive up the middle, sipp gets a piece of it to deflect it almost directly to Correa. He had a chance to glove it and step on 2nd and throw to first for a sure double play but somehow correa misjudged it and it went right over his glove into CF. 6-6, 2 on and still nobody out.

Sipp strikes out the next batter, gregerson comes on. Ground out to first, runner scores. 7-6 jays. Next batter strikes out.

Hosmer hits a 2run HR in the top of the 9th. 9-6 jays

Its going to be mchugh. He pitched 8 innings 3 times this year, and 7+ about a half a dozen more times. I dont think hes ever thrown a CG in his career

Great season for the Stros.Weren't suppose to be here this year.2017 is viewed as their year.....If they don't do a lot of trading they'ev done in the past to screw things up.

Saggy Aggie

They won't. They know this club can win which is why they were buyers and not sellers at the deadline.

They won't be selling off players anymore

It'll be interesting to see what they do. I'd say they need some playoff level relief pitching. The bats went cold in August and September, hard to coach around that other than to let some newbies play while you rest a guy or 2, and then let some play through it to get their timing back.

But we are still proud of them. They out performed most everyone's expectations. Tough that it all came down to one bad inning in the last game. After ValBuena's homer, the Royals pitcher put on a show. That's what it takes in the playoffs.

This team was a blast. They out performed the '97, '98, '99 and '01 blue and gold Astros playoff teams that won a combined 2 games. They are a part of Astros history now. I guess they look for a first baseman that hits over .200 and a couple of stud relievers. KC had 3 relievers who could throw harder than anyone on the 'stros.

Astros have made several moves lately... And I love Luhnow more everyday. He's making all the right moves so far and it looks like he's getting ready to do something big....

Villar and conger traded for cash.
Qualls released.
Carter non-tendered and will become a FA

Astros rumored to be trying to trade for a closer and could potentially be getting ready to offer Keuchel an extension or sign a big free agent?

Astros have 3 open spots on their 40-man. I expect to see AJ Reed at 1B but I'm looking forward to seeing what Luhnow has up his sleeve otherwise.
