Tired of Forum Redirect....

Is anyone else seeing this site redirect when logging on to this forum? About every 6th or 7th time I visit this site, my browser gets redirected to either a File Download sight or a porn thing. Just when I fiddle around to figure it out, it quits.

I googled it and it appears to be pretty rampant, and has nothing to do with a virus or anything on my end, but the software that a lot off BBS forums use is vulnerable and they get hacked... I think, or that is the way I read it. It happens when I access other truck or computer forums. Anyone else seeing it?

Seeing this same discussion on other forums as you noted. Seems to be some kind of bogus links returned to the search engines. I just leave a tab open to pages I read frequently and don't have the problem, even when everyone else on the same forum is having trouble getting back to the "honey hole".

I've never had a problem, but then it's been saved in my favorites (or homepage at home) for years.

Add icon shortcut it's the easiest option esp on a phone. I view in desktop view for an easier read as well.

I have had this happen to me every time I try to go directly to the 4a sports form. I get a porn site or some kind of game thing. I thought I had a virus.

Yeah, it's tied the search.
In my first post I said I never had a problem. Then I saw this post saying it was " tied to the search" so I did a little experiment.
I went to both Google and Yahoo, and typed "Texasdownlow " in the search bars, then I clicked on the direct hyperlink to the main page and everything was normal with no redirect.
Then I tried the same thing with Bing, and VOILA!! I got redirected to the file sharing site you talked about.:cool:


Never got sent to a porn site though.:(

use Google, when I go straight to the downlow I go directly to the side, but when I go to the 4a downlow I get redirected
