Caldwell wins Austin McCallum Tournament!!!

The Lady Hornets worked EXTREMELY hard to win. In pool play they faced Lamar Arlington and won 2-1 in ITB and then played MAC 1 and won 2-1..(in this game the Lady Hornets did not play very well but still got a win.) Their first game was against Lockhart and won 2-1 in 2 ITB's. Second game was against LaGrange (who they had just previous played on Thursday and won 3-1) and won against them 3-2 in 4 ITB's. That game lasted about 2 hours and 45 minutes. The last game for the championship was against McNeil. This game was horrible. The ump was horrible. He would apologize for calling strikes balls and calling balls strikes. Everyone there had their own different opinion about the way things should have been but regardless Caldwell still pulled it out with a 2-1 win. No overtime this game. They deserved it and worked hard for it. Way to go Lady Hornets!!
