Sad news....

A bad deal for sure. The worker killed was a single father of three girls. There were 12-15 workers in the site when it collapsed. Fortunate more weren't killed......and that there were no kids around.
Prayers for the family of the deceased worker.

I went by and took a look. The construction was next to the baseball field where upgrades were being made. Heard some second-hand talk about this particular firm already with a lawsuit against them from past performance on another project.....couldn't verify that though. Steel structures are NOT supposed to collapse in non-tornadic winds......so looks like they didn't have the frame and roof supports tied together secure enough when the work in progress incident occurred.
