A&m's season went in the drain when house got hurt :/

But they signed a great class so maybe they can be decent next year. Basketball has never really been our thing though

You never know what will happen, if Texas plays to their talent they can beat Butler. Better to be playing in the tourney then sitting and watching at home, Lol

I think SMU just got hosed on that 3 point game winning goal-tending call against them. Errant shot didn't appear it was going to hit rim. Dern sure wasn't over the cylinder either.

I don't know, man. To me, it looked like the right call. It clearly wasn't going in, but it looked to me like it still had a chance to hit the rim. I think given the situation the ref made the right call. And they had a couple of good looks after that.

Rules says, contact with BB, over the cylinder, not---hit the rim. That ball wasn't going in.

I've seen goal tending called millions of times not over the rim.... Ball coming down near the rim gets called everytime.

I think it was the right call

Yes, I can appreciate the clarification. However, I think when you look at it from the perspective of where the ref was standing that made the call, I really think I would have called it the same.

It was very very close and in real time, I don't blame the ref for making that call. I think the player made a very bad mistake. Not to pile on the kid, but what he did is much more of an error than what the ref called. Plus, they had two more good looks to win the game.
