Silsbee will want a track meet. Sterling should try to make it a half court game to utilize it's size advantage.

Sterling better not try to run with Silsbee, that would be a grave mistake on their part.

I'm expecting Triple A Academy(25-4) to win tonite's game against Dallas Madison(24-7). Both have played tough schedules early and both have long winning streaks. I think Triple A has played a little tougher competition, and both teams played some of the same competition. It appears that Triple A won more decisively against common opponents. I just think Triple A has more talent on their team this season, and if they play up to their potential they should win. Dallas Madison has been in this position so many times in the past though. That should help Madison to some extent, but each year you generally have a different group as the starters. I thought the scheme Argyle used against Triple A gave them lots of trouble, but I don't look for Madison to play Triple A in the same manner(defensive & deliberate). Triple A likes to run and score fast. I think Madison will get tempted to do the same, and that could be their downfall against Triple A.

pretty sure Madison beat Triple A- or at least I got a text saying they had.

Not a big surprise if they did. They are a very good team and have gone thru these playoffs for years. They are ALWAYS a force out of Region 2.

Thanks for all the good wishes, everyone. I think everyone is aware of Bridgeport's good fortune basketball story this season, and we are very proud of these hard working and hard playing kids---every one of them. I hope these kids can bring home that State title next weekend. Go Bulls!

Tatum gave HS a track meet and they still won. HS can play both very well. I am not a basketball guy, but Silsbee or HS must be the odds on favorite to play for a state championship.
