El Campo Football Coach Resigns

Just heard on the El Campo radio station that head football coach Bob Gillis resigned today.
He is leaving to join Dr Lowe at UT Physicians.
Dr Lowe is the primary ortho doctor for the Texans, Rockets, Cougars and various Houston area high school teams.

I think Coach Wright just retired a few weeks ago.

My guess is Wayne Condra to step up and take over. Mighty big shoes to fill,but Condra may have what it takes to build a good legacy of his own.

Well documented on this site that there is no better qualified leader of young men than he is.

Many may be equal, but no one surpasses him.

Coach Wright retired and has no plans to come back.

Can't see anyone but Coach Condra getting the job at this point.

What a class gentleman Coach Gillis has allways been. What a big loss for ElCampo.
El Campo job will have lots of interest . Super hard working community with very good hard working kids with talent every year with a winning attitude.

Hate losing Coach Gillis But wish him well in the future. Coach Condra Im sure is favored right now. But letsm see who else applies!
