Not a good look.

This is a note written by Baylor player Silas Nacita that he sent out on Twitter

The NCAA did not declare Silas Nacita ineligible and Baylor has not requested a waiver for him.

So I guess Baylor made a mistake? Because according to the team he was ruled ineligible yesterday before the first spring practice.

Sounds like the kid made a mistake.

“Silas Nacita will not be a part of the football program moving forward due to rules violations that impact his eligibility,” Baylor athletic director Ian McCaw said in a prepared statement. “We appreciate his contributions to Baylor football and wish him well as he completes his studies.”

Yes, it sounds like there's a little bit more to the story that ol' Silas hasn't made public. Baylor certainly will honor his privacy on any personal issues, but may be forced to be forthcoming if they somehow are blamed for his release.

Sounds like the kid is looking for some attention. Which he probably needs it. I really don't blame him if his story is true.

Somebody made a mistake and BU is not taking chances on being screwed by the NCAA on the deal. What McCaw said sounds pretty much like "See ya". I feel for the kid but something is fishy.

Things just really aren't adding up in this whole thing. Someone's lying.
