Art Briles will be announced tomorrow as the new head football coach of the U of H. Congrats, AB.

Congrats to Coach Briles. If anyone can turn that train around, he can do it.

This was not a good choice. But I wish Art well.
UH will be hunting another coach in 2-3 years.

I think it's the perfect hire for the Cougars. Briles has been a WINNER everywhere he's been and that's what I expect him to be able to do at UH as well. I would think that he'll make some good progress in the recruiting wars, too. Think about it. If he can consistently recruit second-level guys and a blue-chipper every now and then from the Houston area (within a 200 mile radius), he should be able to win consistently in Conference USA. Nobody in that conference has a better area to recruit from. He's gonna need 2-3 years to put his stamp on the program, but I think he's gonna win there.
