Little League Intl has stripped the Jackie Robinson West team of the US LL championship because of recruiting boundary violations.

Do you think cheating at all levels of athletic competition has gotten more or less prevalent today, and if more, do you think it is because of increased awareness due to the aggressive modern media and social media useage, or is cheating just more rampant today ?

If the media spent half as much time and energy investigating and exposing what REALLY matters in our country as they do in sensationalism, the American people might just take our country back. Sadly, I look for some backlash from this story.

It sucks to take away things like this from kids, but you have to. The team as a whole broke the rules, that includes the coaches and the players parents. 10-year-olds were definitely jipped in this situation, but at the same time if you don't punish them it sets a bad precedent moving forward.

Shame they have to taint one of the most important icons ever in baseball, Jackie Robinson -- by having his name associated in this junk at all. When they bring this up over the years, Jackie's name will be mentioned, cause the Jackie Robinson West team name.

Congrats to the very impressive Las Vegas team that did it the ol' fashioned way.....they didn't cheat to win. Rounding up a "SuperTeam" like the Chicago area did in no way, shape, or form truly represents a valid Little League eligible playoff team. You can be sure some of the parents and members of that team were well aware of the boundary rules when the team was formed.....well, maybe not any of the players. Certainly not a knock on the players, but rules are instituted to be followed by all participants to keep a somewhat level playing field. We do know that Chinese Taipei and Japan teams consists of broader regions when their teams are formed, as does many of the non-USA participants.

They make a living being race-baiters..., a VERY GOOD living! It doesn't matter that the team cheated. It's about the race of the cheater.
