Wake up and smell the coffee, folks.....major retailers thruout the nation are beginning to collapse. Store closings are forecast for big box department stores and other major chain retaliers like Sears Holdings Corp(KMart 175-225, Sears 100-125), Best Buy(200-250), J.C. Penney(300-350), Office Depot(125-150), Barnes & Noble(190-240), Gamestop(500-600), Office Max(150-175), Radio Shack(450-550) and many others not mentioned here.*(As reported by Michael Snyder of the Economic Collapse Blog). More recently reported this morning, World News Daily announced: Macy's is closing 14 of its 790 stores across the country, JC Penney is closing 39 of its stores and laying off 2250 workers, Sears has been around for 110 yrs but is closing 235 stores, Radio Shack closed 175 stores in 2014 and is negotiating w/lenders to shutter 1100 more stores, Aeropostale closed 75 stores during the holidays and say they expect to close an additional 50-75 shortly. Wet Seal is closing 338 stores while dealing with bankruptcy proceedings, laying off over 3700 full and part-time employees. These are only some of the retailers that were mentioned as an example of what is really happening out there in America despite the lies you may be hearing about the economy from Main Stream Media and other political sources. You can bet your boots this is just the beginning of what will be an absolute horrendous economic backlash as more workers lose their jobs and more businesses are impacted either directly or indirectly by this slowing of the dollar velocity. Oh....there's plenty more to read about(and to worry about) all over the web, but you can access this article now by googling SilverDoctors.com and reading the entire article for yourself entitled "The US Retail Industry is Collapsing: Here's Why You're in Trouble". I would strongly urge all Americans to begin preparing for an eventuality of shortages of goods and services, an increasing rise in food and commodity prices, dwindling of supplies, and more competition for fewer jobs. All the prognotisticators are now warning us all the indicators are in plain sight now....so wake up and smell the coffee.

On a side note.....do yourself a favor and get yourself some ASE's(American Silver Eagles) or some 90% Silver coinage while the price is still affordable and inventory is available. Then stash it and keep it for a "rainy day" when you'll need it.....just sayin'.

10 years ago most of the big retailers didn't have online sales. companies like Amazon and Overstock.com filled that market. Now they all do online sales which pretty much turns their retail outlets into storage buildings. Why drive to Walmart when you can order online and have it delivered. Home delivery is huge now but it's going to be 100X that in a few short years.......................
