AFC Championship: Colts @ Patriots

I'll be pulling for the Colts in this one. Can't stand the Pats and their East Coaster Cronies anymore.

It's raining and the Pats kickoff to the Colts. Colts will start at their own 21.

Luck got some pressure there and got a little shaky on that pass attempt. He'll settle down eventually.

3 and out on that series for Luck and the Colts. It is raining too, remember.

21 yd return on the punt to the Patriot 44 to start. Here comes Brady and Co.

The rain is very light and it's not cold by any measure, so conditions are really pretty darn good for a playoff game here.

Pats get the first big break....

3 and out as the Pats punt it back and the fair catch is muffed. Looks like the Pats get the recovery at the Colts 30. It hit off his faceguard and now the Pats have the ball at the Colts 26. Big first break early here.

This is gonna be a freebie for the Pats. Don't know if you can afford those kind of turnovers in this championship game. Now the Pats will score first AND receive the 2nd half kickoff.

TD Patriots. Looks like knee hit first though, so he's short. That was third and inches, but the first down is definitely made if the call is short like it looks.

Okay....now he has the TD. Pats draw first blood here. 7-0 Patriots early in the first due to the muffed punt by the Colts.

I reckon that'll wake up these Colts some, huh. Maybe Luck will get "Lucky" as the game goes forward....maybe.

Looks like the Colts will attempt to establish a running game here to compliment Luck and keep the pressure off him for the wide recievers.

First down Colts. Now at their own 44. That completion is good to the 50.

Across midfield for a firstdown and now a first down run for 5 more yards down to the 40 of the Pats.

3rd and 5 pass good for 7 for another first down for the Colts on this drive.

Luck throws a perfect pass to Herron at the sideline on about the 5 against the linebacker but he didn't make the big catch. Too bad...the Colts need their recievers to catch those. Now it's 4th down and field goal time from way out....about 51 yds. Its no good....not even close.

That's TWO big breaks early that the Pats get from the "friendly" Colts tonite.....so far. At this rate I'd say Brady and the Boyz are licking their chops.

Now the Pats start at their own 41 and cross midfield on a jet sweep good for a firstdown.

Big catch for 30 yards on that one. Now at the Colts 17 again.

Colts in early trouble here....need to somehow keep it to a field goal here.

2nd and 9 pass goes incomplete across the middle on the slant.

Now down to the 1 on the run.

TD Indianapolis on the short pass to the tight end. Pats now up 14-0 still in the first quarter.

Guess I'll wait til half for my dessert, haha. Gotta have something to keep me somewhat happy.

Maybe I'll wait til the end of the game.....either to celebrate a Colts win or to pacify my disappointment.:smoker:
