Dish for not broadcasting the games in high def. I assume they are the ones that made the call.

Is it on HD anywhere? That is usually a network call not a provider who is just sending a signal they receive

Just received a confirmation from Fix Sports Southwest via twitter they produce the games in high def and Dish has chosen to broadcast in standard def.

If you are on twitter, let Dish know your thoughts.

@FSSouthwest: @Boerneman We produce/distribute all our programming in HD, but ultimately it is up to your provider if they choose to carry it in HD

Its on 5 by 5 in HD on DirecTV. So are the Eagles at Redskins on the NFL channel right now.
Flipping back and forth.

That's the nicest thing I've called them.

I have had all 3 options here in SETX. Time warner, dish and direct. I didn't like time warner's gui and even the HD was pixilated at times. Dish never had what I wanted on unless I paid $300 per month. Now I have direct. I have 9 tv's in my new house and they all have their own receiver. My bill is 150. IMO, direct has the best picture out of all of them also.

Just hang on, they'll screw you eventually.

We've had Direc TV for over 15 years since moving to our home in Hungerford. We have three receivers with two recorders. We would never switch since we know where all the channels are

When we call ETEX, we talk to a local guy/girl at the local office accept on weekends...they send the calls to some nimrod in Swan Lake, MS...they let the locals have the weekends off...sweet
