Temple offense started smooth and looked awesome, but once they got behind, they started pressing and making mistakes.. And I guess their defense forgot about Bishop.., that lad is tenacious just like his older brother.. Coming back 18 behind will be a very very tall task against Aledo, if not impossible..

In my opinion, there were no losers in this game. I know that in reality, someone had to lose, but you can't call them losers. Those kids from Temple left it all on the field. You could see how hard they tried and how badly they wanted it. Very entertaining game and shows why we all watch Texas high school football. There is no better product anywhere. Glad that I can be a part of it as a spectator. Texas playoffs are much better than the bowl games that were on yesterday and definitely attracted larger crowds. Congratulations Aledo. You played a great game.

Gontex, I didn't realize there were bowl games on yesterday. It wouldn't have made any difference if I had though. It was three days of some great high school football.
