Okay, Cameron is going to the State Championship game for the 4th time in 5 years and going after ring No.4. They have pretty much destroyed everyone they have played in the playoffs. Does Mineola have the speed to match Cameron's?

I would love to see it. Mineola has been the poster child whipping boy forever. I know they are excited and would like to see the jackets get it done.......but the oYe been there done that. They building some outstanding tradition.

I must say Mineola is the story of the TX HS football playoffs this year. Mineola has been a whipping boy for a long time. The last two years they have a combined 3 district wins and a losing record both years. In district Van scored 69 and 50 on them the last 2 years. They got destroyed 52-0 by Gilmer last year in Rd 1. Redistricting helped them tremendously and to be honest I'm not sure how to feel about it. I am happy for them but watching Mineola play in the state championship game hurts.

Yes we do, it holds the entire population of Van..........twice!!

We don't have much in Van but we do have a nice stadium. My only complaints are the bathrooms are to far away from the stands and our video board is to small. But then I remind myself we're lucky to have what we have. Compared to most schools it's top shelf.

I have no problem with teams scoring..but up that much and calling a TO is pretty crappy. take the 5 yards it is not going to hurt you.

I am of the belief that you don't let the other team dictate the outcome of a hard fought victory. What is the point of continuing to call timeouts and throwing the ball with the game in hand? I will tell you what the point is, "I am going to one-up you".

When did they call TO in the 2nd half? I was speaking mainly about at the end of the first half. The clock was continuously running in the 4th. I know it was late and I might not have been coherent. I just dont remember them calling TO and then chunking to the endzone.

Don't know. Maybe to get the right kids on the field. The last one the threw was to a back-up. I don't know but I understand your questioning.

I don't see a big problem with it at 63-27, had it been 63-0 then it would be classless. The defense could always just get a stop, then there's no problem...
