About Burnet: The Bulldogs put any doubts anyone had about them to rest last week as they demolished Austin Reagan 47-0....McGee and Shipley both put up big numbers against a pretty good Reagan squad..and Cody Warner had over 100 yards of total offense to compliment Shipley...
About Gatesville: Thayer had 206 yards and 3 TD's to pace the Hornets in their blowout win over Alvarado...Fadal chipped in 2 TD passes and the Gatesville D shut down the Indians until late in the 4th when Alvarado put up 2 scores with the game out of reach..
Overall: This should be a very good matchup between 2 inter-regional powers...Gatesville hasn't lost at home in a long time, but they haven't faced anyone like Burnet at home in a while either...Burnet by 13
