Sorry, not Football related!! But, I became a new father Saturday morning @ 07:37 AM. I had to share with the board!! My little girl is 8 weeks premature, but, she is hanging in there like a true CHAMP!!! She is making it on her own with out the aid of machines.

I brought Mrs. ej2525 home today from the hospital doing as well as can be expected. Although it will be about a month before I will be able to bring my daughter (Lauren) home. I am beaming from ear to ear today!!!! :D :D :D

Congrats! My son was 8 weeks early also and weighed 4 lbs 8 oz. He is graduating this year and is 6'1" 220 lbs and an all-state offensive lineman (Shameless plug...hehehehe) It may be a couple of weeks before you can get her home, but time will fly!

Congratulations ej2525!
My son was ten weeks early and it was scary. He was 2 lbs 14 oz and the smallest thing. I wish the best for you and your new family.

Congrats. I know that one of our church members feels your pain about being early. His wife had a baby today and was 6 weeks premature. Glad to hear everyone's doing great.

God Bless.

Daughters are truly a blessing. I have a son now, but there is a special spot with Dad for his daughter...

I know that family & friends can do the most amazing things for you when times get rough. But, it is amazing how folks you do not even know outside of a common message board ( 3A Downlow) make you feel better with just words, but it can/will happen... Thanks for all the well wishes!!!

No matter what happens on this board... in some form or fashion we are all tied into each other's lives with the good & the bad. That is why I am back time & time again to see how things are going across the state day-in-day-out.

Thank you all for the thoughts & prayers!!

Is your daughter at Texas Children's? I would assume so, since you live in the best medical area in the world.

Congrats to the new Daddy!! Sounds like she's doing well!! Hang in there!! Someday soon, you will be throwing her in the air and pushing her on a swing!! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!! She is truly a little angel in your life!! I will keep her in my prayers, as well as her wonderful parents. Don't worry, someday real soon you will be dishing out $100 for a pair of jeans that "she just can't live without"!! Take care and God Bless!!
