Sinton by 14.Both defensive tackles are in the lineup which hasn't happen much this season, imo one of the best duo since 2010. missing other DE Robert Knox think he's lost for rest of the year. His replacement Linderman did a good job last night. PI ran misdirection plays is when they got some yards, when they went to different formations the defense smuther it. They had 5 starters out on defense from newspaper story above so some kids been stepping up lately.

Hondo averages 20 points a game so good chance to tune up the defense.

PI had 199 total yards with about 60 of that coming in that last second td at the end of the game so they pretty much held them in check.

Sinton's Tyler Handson last time facing Hondo was Sinton first game of 2011 as a freshman when he came in late in 4th qtr as a freshman to make his varisty debut. Next game Handson became the starting qb for Sinton. Hondo won that game 28-0 in Sinton first game at their new turf field.

Only team to hold Handson to 0 yds passing, he was 1 for 7 with a interception when he came in late in that game. Handson did rush for 16 yds on 3 carries.

A little of both, Hondo isn't that great and Navarro was running on all cylinders that game.

Page 2 ???? Its Wednesday Folks.... Although there may not be that many Hondo posters, we still need to talk it up. Safe Travels to ALL involved. Wish I could be at the game but my wife scheduled a camping trip for this weekend. We planned this back in the summer along a couple other families. And back then I was supposed to be working. You're always going to have a close game in a rival game (Devine and Hondo) records and stats do not matter. Hondo can play a lot better than what you saw in the Navarro game. If anything, this was Hondo worse game of the season and Navarro best game of the season. So take it for what it's worth.

Glad the rain stayed away! Pirates almost firing on all cylinders. Defense was outstanding tonight! Loved that goal line stand on Hondo's first drive! :clap: We have GOT to get our special teams cleaned up. smh. Missing xp this late in the season is unacceptable.

Wish I had stayed in SA to watch today's game, but I didn't want to sit in the rain and now it looks like the rain will be gone by game time. Damnit!
